Impact Charter
Re:shape have created an Impact Charter which provides a framework to implement and monitor our ESG, social impact and community empowerment activities. This helps us to drive forward the delivery of alternative, more affordable, sustainable buildings and communities.

+ Housing affordability: Increasing supply of affordable housing to tackle inequalities by providing inclusive, sustainable housing options and delivering shared spaces.
+ Design quality: Improving the quality of housing for those who can’t afford to build, buy, or rent homes that meet their basic needs and provide decent, adequate housing.
+ Environmentally sustainable: Improving the building’s performance, reducing waste, reducing consumption (water, electricity, gas), and using environmentally minded materials.
Places
+ Community-led: Increasing levels of community participation and management and enabling local people to experience a greater sense of personal agency and empowerment.
+ Preserving heritage: Recognising that local heritage, culture and the arts contribute to people’s lives in ways that are meaningful to them.
+ Connectivity: Increasing physical and social connectivity through improving access to metropolitan locations, transport hubs and public amenities.
People
+ Wellbeing: Improving physical and mental health by promoting an active lifestyle and reducing loneliness.
+ Social cohesion: Helping to build or maintain the social cohesion of the community through ‘softer’ supporting activities such as community events.
+ Economic prosperity: Offering high levels of ‘local employment’, training and mentoring through reciprocal engagement with local business and social enterprises.
