Wembley ARK

Acquisition of a 115,270 sqft hotel comprising 300 beds.

In a Joint Venture with Crosstree Partners and Generation Estates, Re:shape acted as Development Manager, Planning Manager & Asset Manager.

Re:shape converted the building to become ARK’s first operational Co-living building, providing high-quality studios ranging from 21-29sqm and experience-led amenities including; co-working, communal kitchen, gym, event space, roof pavilion, meditation & yoga studio, Peloton spin studio, podcast room, and gaming room.

Located within the Wembley masterplan, Re:shape acquired Kelaty House Wembley as a C1 hotel building that had been designed for another serviced apartment brand.

In over a year, Re:shape converted the building to a hybrid length-of-stay Co-living building, and established ARK’s own identity within the space. Re:shape’s vision was to create a lifestyle-led space that made people feel at home and enable an organic community experience. The approach was to embrace a warm and earthy colour palette, carefully curate stylish FF&E & artwork, and provide a light touch F&B offering.

Opening in September 2022, the building features flexible amenity spaces, cleverly designed studios and a state-of-the-art roof extension offering an all-year-round space for events, working and cooking.

Re:shape advised the appointment of a main contractor, negotiated schedule of contract amendments, and oversaw cost and programme.

Re:shape mobilised the building through recruitment of the onsite team / motivating them to deliver exceptional services and experiences, establishing SOPs, a Sales & Marketing strategy, cultural programming, and rollout of an ARK members App.
